Show PAY TRIBUTE TO WORKDF- CREEL WASHLVGTOX, Nov. 23. Secretaries Baker, Daniels and Wilson were speakers speak-ers tonight at a farewell dinner given George Creel, chairman of the committee commit-tee on-public information, on the eve of his departure for Europe to close up the foreign business of the committee. The secretaries paid tribute to the work of the committee and Mr. Creel in keeping the American people informed of the development de-velopment of the country's war program. pro-gram. Secretary Baker said the commltteo had done splendid work in sustaining the morale of the people by keeping constantly con-stantly before them the Ideals for which the war was being fought, and also declared de-clared that the foreign propaganda work of the committee was an important factor i in winning the sympathy of neutral countries for the cause of America and the allies. Secretary Daniels spoke of the value of the committee's work In acquainting the neutral world with the invincible purpose pur-pose of the American people to fight the war to a successful conclusion, no matter mat-ter what the sacrifice, and in disseminating disseminat-ing throughout the world the story of America's vast preparations.
