BRITISH INDIA ARMY LOSSES TOTAL HIGH LONDON, Nov. 29, via Montreal. 1 Casualties In the British Indian army : during the war, according to figures given out here today, totaled 101,-139, of which number were killed, died of wounds or are missing. The wounded total 69,296 and 9092 were taken prisoner. The majority of the casualties were suf- ! fered in Mesopotamia. j The strength of the Indian army at the outbreak of the war was 239.fCl.
