Scott dismissed yesterday the charge of murder mur-der whii h hail been preferred against Mike Lemich for the' killing of Mike Maud i eh at Biimham, March IT. 1914. Lemich shot Ma ndich to death. Witnesses Wit-nesses testified that the shooting was done after Mi1. ndich had threatened the defendant with a butcher knife and assaulted as-saulted htm with that weapon. Lemich accounted for his disappearance after the killing with a plea that he fled for fear Mandh-h's friends might attempt to gain revenue.
