Show FfiliOS OF BETTER NfflYS TO MEET Good Roads Convention to Begin Sessions in Hotel ; Utah This Morning. The firs., good roads convention to be held in Utah in a number of years will be cabled to order at the Hotel Utah this morning by Herbert S. Auer-bach, Auer-bach, who will preside as temporary chairman of the convention and outline out-line the purposes of the meeting. From every part of the state delegates will be in attendance and it ia expected by the general committee that many matters of importance will be brought before the meeting for action. J. H. Adams, president of the Pike's Peak Ocean-to-Ocean highway, arrived in the city yesterday from the Uinta basin to attend the convention. Yesterday Yes-terday afternoon he held a conference with J. David Larson, secretary of the Commercial club and a member of the general committee, in regard to the work which is boing done in Colorado for the road which he represents. It is probable that he will be called upon to speak at the meeting today. DelegBtes will be present from practically prac-tically all of tho northern counties of the state and a number of the southern counties will also bo represented. The convention will be called to order or-der in the supper room of the Hotol Utah at 10:30 o'clock. Mayor Mont Ferry will deliver the address of welcome wel-come and a permanent organization will be formed during the convention. A committee is at work on the constitution consti-tution and the by-laws of the proposed good roads organization at this time. The executive committee has issued an invitation to Ogden delegates to select a speaker to present the ease of the northern routes, but his name will not be known until this morning.
