Show BOY SCOUTS LEAVE ON EMIGRATION TRIP Young Patriots Will View Valley From Where Brigham Young First Saw It. The Boy Scouts, seventy-five strong, will leave this morning at 7:30, over the O. S. L., on their annual hike through Emigration canyon. The party will be under the direction of Scout 'Commissioner John H. Taylor. The American flag will be at the head of the company. Captain-Chaplain B. II. Roberts will accompany the boys as far as Hene-fer, Hene-fer, wnere a programme will be carried out and Chaplain Roberts will speak. The scouts will reach Taylor's creek tomorrow night, where they will camp. A party, consisting of B. H. Roberts, Hyrum G. Smith and George J. Cannon, Can-non, will leave Monday morning and meet the boys at the "Mountain Dell camp. Tuesday the entire party will hike to the spot in Emigration canyon where Brigham Young first viewed the valley. |
