Show STAGG WILL COACH SUMMER FOOTBALL By International News Service. CHICAGO, Feb. 12. Athletki Director Stuggr of the University of Chicago is planning" to spend his summer vacation in Washington. It will not bo a period of leisure for Mr. Stag?, however, for the Washington State college has secured se-cured his services and he will be busy instructing in-structing coaches and studenLs fn the art of coaching athletes during the summer months. According to Stagg, he will have nothing noth-ing whatever to do with Washington's football team, although indirectly he may be of some benefit. His course will be open to both students and coaches at oth-ter oth-ter schools, and will cover track and football. foot-ball. He will have a regular system of lectures lec-tures on the theory of coa'-iiing, and in add i lion to this will give some practical demonstrations of his system. Mr. Stagg plans to leave for the west immediately alter the close of school in Chicago in June and will take up his new duties at Washington in the latter part of that month. |
