Lloyd's Shipping agency this afternoon announced that the British steamships Voltaire, of 4"9 tons gross, and the Olivia, of 211 tons gross, had been sunk. Lloyd's announces that the Greek bteamer Ag-hios Spyridion, 76S tons, has been sunk by a submarine. Five men have been landed, but the captain and the remainder re-mainder of the crew were drowned. The steamer Lycia has been sunk, Lloyd's Shipping ogency announces. The cri-w was saved. The sinking of the British steamship Nttherlee is reported hy Lloyd's. The Netherlee, tons gross, was last r ported on bar departure from Philadelphia, Phila-delphia, January 2, for Dunkirk, France. The steamer Lycia was a Cunard line vessel of -715 tons, built in lOG at Middles-burough. |
