Show AGGIE HDGPERS WILL IKE IWM TRIP Jenson's Basketball Five Will Leave Feb. 22; Have Six Games Scheduled. LOGAN. Feb. 12. The Agricultural college col-lege basketball team will leave for an invasion in-vasion of Montana on February 22, and will play at least six games on the trip. The schedule is nearly complete for the trip and includes games with the Montana Mon-tana '?' and Aggies as Missoula and Bozemn n, respectively, and a game also at Billings and possibly one game in Idaho. The excursion to the north is the result of the persistent efforts of Manager Man-ager Leo Sharp, who has worked hard with the squad this season. Two yea rs ago Coach Jenson and his B. Y. college team invaded Montana, and from the experience derived on this trip Coach Jenson is able to determine the status of things there, as it is reported that the Montana schools are equally as strong t his year, if not stronger, than they were two years ago. The Aggie frephmen are planning to arrange ar-range a trip to Salt Lake, playing games at different points. Those who "are behind be-hind this move are some of the new students stu-dents at the Aggie school, who would like to meet some of their former teammates. team-mates. Not until recently has much interest been shown in swimming at the college. Swimming squads and teams are being organized, and it is definite that the Aggie Ag-gie swimmers will n:eet the L. D. S. university uni-versity both in Logan and in Salt Lake. In the tryouls so far, Dahlquist, Purcell and Jones are looming up in the aquatic sports. |
