THE announcement yesterday of the return - of the Utah held, hospital corps from border duly brought much joy to L. D. S. U. athletic followers, for it means the home-coming of Austin P. -Miller, coach of the Saints for several years past, and highly popular with the attdetes not only of the Gold and Blue, but of all other schools as well. It is doubtful If Miller will take charge of the L. D. S. U. athletics, as George A. Rynearson is in charge at present, but from several sources it was learned yes-teiday yes-teiday that Miller would become coach of the B. Y. C. in Logan, to succeed Joe Jenson, who is being considered for a physical education position in the Agri-euiturul Agri-euiturul college. However, Miller will probably decide upon his return next week whether he will accept the Ijogan proposition. .Miller was one of the best forwards ever turned out from the University of Utah. Ho is tirst sergeant in the field hospital. With Coach Miller on the border are Joe Williams, captain of the L. D. S. U. team in 111 4 . and Evan Taylor, a great center. Both will be welcome additions to Salt Lake basketball fives. |
