Walter Clark, pioneer mlnine: man at Bingham and resident of Salt Dake City i for many years, passed aviy at his home, 'J.S4 Fifth East street, yesterday of diabetes, dia-betes, from which he had been a sufferer for a long- period. Mr. Clanc came to Utah when a young man, and followed mining" until seventeen seven-teen years ago, when he went into the ice cream business in this city, tie continued con-tinued in tnis business until about three years ago, when failing health forced him to retire. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, three sons and three danshters. The sons are George, John and pjugene Clark, and the daughters are Miss Jessie Clark, Miss Clara Clark and Mrs. Grace O'Neil, all of Salt like. Funeral services will be held at the chanel of O'Donnell & Co. this afternoon at H o'clock. Interment will be in t lie City cemetery. |
