Show MISSOURIAN FALLS DEAD ON SIDEWALK Oscar Limpus, 76 years of age, a retired re-tired citizen of St.' Joseph, Mo., fell dead shortly after 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon while standing on the pavement pave-ment of East Temple street Just north of the Hotel Utah. Bystanders attempted in vain to revive re-vive the man, the ambulance patrol from the public safety building was 1 notified and Dr. R. w! Ashley, health commissioner, who made an examination examina-tion of the body, pronounced death due j to a sudden attack of heart disease. The body of the man was removed to the chapel of S. D. Evans, under- , taker, where it was identified at 8 o'clock last night by Thomas O "Con-, nor, 11 Kensington apartments, as that 1 of his wife's father. Mr. Limpus had j been in the city for only a week and was visiting his daughter at the time he ' was stricken. No funeral arrange- j meuts have been announced. |
