Show CHOOSE ELECTORS y AND INDORSE HUGHES Arizona Republicans Hold Adjourned Session of Their State Convontion. PRE8COTT, Ariz., July fi. John C. Greenway, mine manager of Warren; J. L. Hubbell, rancher of Canada, and W. W. Cook, cattleman of Phoenix, were named as presidential elector here today at an adjourned session of the state convention of Arizona .Republicans. .Repub-licans. Thomas Mnddox, secretary of tbo state committee, was elected chairman, succeeding Joseph H. Kibbey, who resigned re-signed to become a candidate for United States senator. Telegrams congratulating them on "the reunion of the Republican and Progressive parties, ; ' were sent to -Charles E. Hughes, Charles Warren Fairbanks and Colonel Theodore Eoose-velt. Eoose-velt. The action of the Republican national na-tional convention in Chicago was endorsed en-dorsed and tho operation of the statewide state-wide prohibition law was approved in resolutions adopted by the delegates. |
