Show Noted Horseman Dies. MINNEAPOLIS, July 12. M. W. Savage, Sav-age, one of the foremost horsemen of the country, died at a local hospital tonight, after a brief Illness. He was about 55 years old and had lived in Minnesota since JSSfi. His death followed bv a day that of his most celebrated horse, Dan Patch, the world's champion pacer. Other horses owned by Mr. Savage, and which were known the country over, included ' George Gano and Minor Heir, both two- 7 minute pacers, and Croesus, a trotter. |
