Show ROTARIANS GO EAST TO BIG CONVENTION Local Club Will Entertain Coast Delegations Dele-gations During Their. Brief Stop in This City. Far western delegates to the national convention of Rotarians, to be held shortly in Cincinnati, will be entertained enter-tained by a committee from the local organization as they pass through. This morning the contingents from Los Angeles, An-geles, Portland and San Francisco are expected in Salt Lake. Among the Portland delegates are N. G. Pike and C. E. Cochran. H. H. Hayes is chairman chair-man of the Salt Lake Rotary club committee com-mittee that will meet them. Will G. Farrell and Charles Tyng of the Salt Lake club will join the Pacific coast men for the trip east. The arty of westerners will leave Salt ake this afternoon on the Pacific Limited. Lim-ited. Salt Lake is going to make every effort to get the 1917 convention of the Rotary clubs of the country and the delegates are taking back with them literature setting forth the merits of Salt Lake as a convention city. The convention pamphlet includes pictures of the points of interest about Salt Lake as well as official invitations to hold the convention here from George O. Relf, president, of the local club; Mayor W. Mont Ferry, Governor William Wil-liam Spry and President F. C. Richmond Rich-mond of the Commercial club. |
