Show INDICTMENTS FOLLOW DEATH OF MISS WARD ' BOSTON. July 12. The grand jury which investigated the death of Miss Margaret Ward of Peabody, which resulted re-sulted from an illegal operation, today returned re-turned four secret indictments. Two of the ten persons named in tiie indictments. indict-ments. Dr. John A. Shanahan of Peabody and Thomas J. Sexton of Salem, appeared later in court and pleaded not guilty to ch-trgeN of being accessories after the death of Miss Ward. Other defendants brought Into court during the day were: Charles O'Oonnell of Pen body, a former state representative: George A. Bard well of Boston, Margaret Stewart.
