Show ALL INVITED FOR TIMPANOGOS HIKE Special to The Tribune. PROVO, July 12. Secretary Henry Nuttall of tho Provo Commercial club Is sending out the following letter relative to the Provo Commercial club's Mount Timpanogos hike. July 2S to 29: The Provo Commercial club will promote two distinct features in connection con-nection with the Timpanogos hike this year. One feature will be an outing to Aspen grove, consisting of a walk from Wlldwood to the grove on Friday Fri-day evening, July 2S; camp supper around the camp fires, a programme of songs, sentiments, and band selections, selec-tions, until 0 p. m. ; then a night's sleep upon pine boughs, followed by an early morning breakfast. The other feature will be the climb to the top of Timpanogos, which will take place Saturday, July 29. beginning begin-ning early in the morning and lasting until late In the afternoon. People who do not care to make the climb may enjoy the rlrst part of the outing out-ing and remain at the cool camp of Aspen grove until the hike is over. We want you and your wife and friends on this trip to swell the crowd and increase the fun. For purposes of organization we must know about how manv we must provide for, and if you will be kind enough to mail the inclosed postal card right away, after stating how many you Intend to bring with you, we will appreciate it. Equipment: Food for three meals, and your bedding. Wagons will haul bedding and food from Wildwood to the grove. Have your bundles and packages carefully tagged with your name. We will take care of details. |
