Tbe principals will I be Lee Morrissey and Joe Rivers, aspir- j ant for'the' world's lightweight cham-; pionship. Rivers is now training hard at Idaho Falls end Morrissey is putting, in some fast work here at the Gray opera house. Interest in the bout is increasing every day. The abilitv of Rivers to take punishment, his .knockout punch and fast footwork make him one of tho most dangerous men in the fistic sport of today. The rapid rise of Morrissey Mor-rissey in the last two years, in which he has scored some ten or twelve decisions de-cisions and a number of knockouts without with-out losing a decision, shows tht his ability must be reckoned with the best of them. In fact, Morrissev's friends believe he is on the road to he world's lightweight championship. Rivers reports himself in the best condition and he certainly looks it. His work during bis training is making mak-ing an impression upon the fans who visit his quarters and see bis work. As to .Morrissey, he is in the piuk of condition and his manager, Tom Yerby, is leaving nothing undone to have him trained to the minute when the gong sounds. The preliminaries will be some of the best ever seen in the state and they, too, are attracting much attention. Seats to the big doings are going fast,, many orders coming from Walt Lake City, Ogden and far-away towns. Tom Painter wired his acceptance last night as referee of the fight. The qualifications qualifica-tions of the famous Wyoming referee are so well known as to guarantee the fight to be handled in the best possible pos-sible manner.
