Miss Halsey is one of tho most prominent workers in America in association work. She has jupt recently returned from an international interna-tional conference in Stonkholm, SvVede-n, During last week the shulentB of Westminster" college were addressed by Miss Halsey in the college chapel, the subject of the address being ( Student and Intercollegiate Activities." Miss Halsey will remain in Utah several days for the purpose of affiliating the Westminster West-minster college Y. W. C. A. with the national society and establishing new , associations, as TTtah ie one of the few 'states which, with so many institutions of higher learning, cannot boast of a student association which is incorporated. incorpo-rated. Miss Black is unusually proficient in her lino of work, being a graduato Of the Colorado Agricultural college and having experience in Young Women's Christian associations. Complete Instruction. The lighting, heating and ventilation of the department are strictly modern, especially the lighting system, which is of the unilateral type, or lighting from : one side only.
