The process of treatment adopted calls for coarse cruhing in gyratory gy-ratory crushers, coarse grinding m steel ball mills and fine grinding in pebble mills, in the oyanidation of the ore continuous decantation, as practiced in the Tom Beed and Goldroad mills, will be followed. The mill will reduce 200 tons daily at the start, hut it will be constructed so that it will ultimately treat 400 toriB daily. Little change has occurred of late in general mine conditions, there being a continuance of the highly pleasing results re-sults accomplished eiuce the development develop-ment of the property was inaugurated. As hand steel is being temporarily used, only slow progress is at present being made in extending the new north drift on the o06-foot level. The drift measures meas-ures about twelve feet in length, all in j ore. As soon as the work baa sufficiently sufficient-ly advanced to permit, machine drill? will be put in operation in this drift. Drifting south on this level hnn been temporarily deferred. The south drift on the 4d.Vfoot level measures more j than sixty-five feet in length and is be-!ing be-!ing extended on a full fare of $'25 to j $30 ore. At the UiO foot point in the i ! north drift, on this level a new crosscut 1 has been started from the hanging to the font wh 11 of t lie vein to determine its width at that particular point. T)ie north drift on the 565-foot level ha-been ha-been temporarily stopped at the -Ho-foot point from the fhaft. with the t'av ftill in ore. The crosscut recentlv started start-ed at the 10-font point in tins drift has disclosed the footwa.ll of the vein. Allowing it to be twenty f our feet in I width. The values between walls aver-I aver-I ago $40 per ton at thi point. I A raise from t his cro.-eut will oon be started to cunuppt with thp 4H." foot level for air and exploratory purpose. At the ninety. foot point from the shaft in the north drift on the .Vl'j-foot Iel a new iroscut ha b-en started from the hanging to the footwall. Tt now measures more than fifteen feet and thus far has not expnd the footwall. ! A crosscut has been started in the south j drift on the oO-Vfont level at a point seventy five feet from the thrift, from the hanging to the footwall. It has thus far been advanced nine feet and yields average values of $.'t0 for its entire en-tire length.
