Show ADVENTISTS CLOSE THEIR CONFERENCE LOMA IiTNDA, Cal., Nov. 20. Appropriations Appro-priations amounting to $655,282 were made by the executive committee of the genora or world conference of the Seventh-day Adventists, which closed its sessions here today, for the advance-meut advance-meut of missionary endeavor in various countries of Asia, Africa, South America and the islands of the soa. This is the largost amount ever appropriated for the purposo by the denomination, exceeding ex-ceeding last year's apportionments by $151,815. China was allotted the largest sum, $175,470. The India Union mission came next with $88,000. while $37,608 was apportioned for work in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Falkland islands, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. The apportionment ap-portionment for South Africa was $54,-140, $54,-140, and appropriations for Mexico, Cuba and Centra) American states amounted to $27,131.
