An entire reorganization of tho Greenewald Furniture company has boen effected, and tho interest formerly former-ly owned by Ford Strouse has been taken ta-ken ovor by tho Bamberger interests in connection with .7. L. Pierce of San Francisco. With this announcement, it has also boen givou out that the new oraauization will establish one of the largest wholesale and retail furniture housos in tho west. Fundamental features fea-tures of the plan are already decided upon and details aro being worked out. The auuouncement follows closely in the wake of the recent activity on Third South street and is regarded as another of the important development moves of the pa3t several weeks. It has nor yet been determined whether tho present site of the firm will bo changed or the structure remodeled, re-modeled, but it is probable that the building will be enlarged and fitted up elaborately". This is now ucincr taken ud with other matters pertaining, to tho uew business by tho new organiza- I tion. An extension in all departments Is ulanned. and with this idea in view the organization is being strengthened in overv possible manner. J. A. Greenewald. Greene-wald. who has beon with the company since its establishment, retains hiB interest, in-terest, and will continuo as secretary. Tho nersounel of the company includes C G. Bamberger, president; J. h. Pierce, vice president; .1. A. Greenewald. Greene-wald. secretary; .Ernest Bamberger and A. 0. Ellis, directors. The Bamberger intorosts will be in active conduct of the business. Win their capital and influence behind an already firmly established business, it is conceded that the firm will rapictiy take its nlacc as ono of the important business institutions of the intermoun-tain intermoun-tain reirion.
