Show ELMER B. JONES I GREATJND DEAL Former Salt Lake Man Buys Tract Within Limits of San Francisco. Elmer B. Jones, a formor well-known Salt Laker, more recently a resident of San J-Vancisco, haa just consummated consum-mated an important land deal in the latter lat-ter city, whereby he and his associates havo acquired the only unplotted tract of land, oxcopt one, within the city limits lim-its of San Francisco. The tract ia known as tho Paul tract, and is situated sit-uated between Railroad and San Bruno avenues. It is said that the purchase price of the property was $150,000 and that associated with Mr. Jones in tho proposition aro sovoral well-known former for-mer Salt Lakors who are now residents of tho Golden state. Tho Paul tract is located in the immediate im-mediate vicinitv of the Union Iron works, the Kisdon Lron works, sugar refineries, re-fineries, barrel works and other manufactories, manu-factories, and it is the purpose of the now owners to subdivide tho property into lots for homes for tho men employed em-ployed in theso various works. Tt is to be known as tho Western Pacific Harbor Har-bor tract, and a sum equal lo the purchase pur-chase prico of tho property is to bo oxponiled at onco in improvements. Associated with Mr. Jones in the promotion pro-motion of the proposition are Valentine Valen-tine Britton and Barton D. Selipmnn of San Fraucisco. Mrs. Cecilia L. Kein-hardt, Kein-hardt, a former woll-known Salt Lako woman also is connoctcd with tho com pany, beinc a diroctor and secretary thereof. Mrs. Rcinhardt has spent tho past two weeks in this city, but left for San Francisco last oveninc; accom panicd by her mother and brother. Tho family will niako their home at Mill Valley. |
