Show PLUTUS TO LEASE MM CLAIM Six Months' Lease Expected to Prove Existence of Good Tonnage. ORE ON FOURTH LEVEL Company Desires to Resume Work Without Calling; for Assessments. David Evans, gcnoral manager of tho PlutuB Mining company, who has been In Utah for the past ten days conferring with shareholders and associate officials of the organization, left for his home In California Saturday evening. Before his departure Mr. Evans wits seen by The Tribune and asked what the officials had concluded to do In the wuy of resuming operations on this property, which 13 conceded con-ceded to be one of tho best unprospected groups of the Tintlc district. Lease Is Negotiated. Mr. Evans stated that he had Investigated Inves-tigated conditions as thoroughly as possible pos-sible and the only thing that had been determined upon at the present time wa9 the granting of a lease upon tho Totro claim to W. Foster Mangum and John H. McCrystal, the lease to extend for six months with a aixty-day termination notice clause. On the Godlva proporty andjolnlng the Plutus, and on the line of the two, there Is a substantial body of flne-grade ore now known, and on the 400-foot level, which gives every indication of extending extend-ing on Into the Plutus ground. Tho ore Is from ten to twelve feet In width on or aoout tno dividing line, tne average or which is 60 per cent lead and twenty-five 1 ounces silver. This ore body is In tho vicinity of tho big stope opened In the old Tetro property years ago, the Tetro being a part of the Plutus estate at the present time.
