The delegates dele-gates to the international convention of the Epworlh League spent much time today preparing for the steamboat excursions ex-cursions and other entertainments tomorrow, to-morrow, when there will be no meetings, meet-ings, but only recreation. The Kansas delegates will help celebrate their Kansas Kan-sas day at the world's fair, where Bishop Quaylc will be the principal speaker. All the meetings today discussed methods of league work. At the brief afternoon session, ttcv. Dr. Franklin Hamilton, chancellor of the American university, Washington. D, C, spoke. Under "tho topic, "The Equipment..' How Dr. v. c. Aicvoy oi oi. jjuiuo spoke on "Instrumentalities Colleges;" Col-leges;" Rev. Dr. George P. Mains of New York, publishing agent of I lie Methodist Episcopal church, on "Books and Literature;' ltov. Dr. Stephen J. llerben of Chicago, editor of the Ep- worth Herald, on "Periodicals;" and licv. R. D. .Hamilton of Listowcl, Out., on "Personal Training." The topic.
