The causoM of 10S deaths reported during dur-ing tho month are as follows: Typhoid fever. 1; tuberculosis of the lungs, -I; scarlet fever, 'J: whooping cough, 2; measles. 1; diphtheria. 1; croup, 1; diseases dis-eases of tho respiratory system, such as pneumonia, and bronchia pneumonia, 13: external causes, 15; suicide. 2; burns and scalds, accidents, 10: diseases of the nervous system, 7; diseases of tho circulatory circu-latory system, 13: Including C from organic or-ganic heart trouble; diseases of the digestive diges-tive system. 0; Brlght's disease, 7. Of tho total number of deaths, 03 wero of males and 45 fomales. Twelve of them were under one month of ago and 2ti were between the ages of 25 and 45. Thero were 20 cases of whooping cough, 0 of chicken pox; 3 of measles and one of lyphold fever. The sanitary . department reported that 3(5 loads of garbage were destroyed at the crematory and 1276 loads of ashes and rubbish were disposed of at the garbage garb-age station. Tho food commissioner reported re-ported five prosecutions for violations of the food ordinance and that S033 pounds of food condemned.
