Show GRAIN MARKET RISES FROM ITSOT LEVELS Numerous Factors Favor the Bulls in Campaign, and Close Is Strong. CHICAGO. July 9. Grain prices advanced ad-vanced sharply on the board of trade todny to-dny notwithstanding the flattering crop statistics given out by the department of agriculture yesterday. The advance In wheat began soon after the mnrket opened, after which the tone was weak owing to selling based on improved weather weath-er conditions In the winter wheat, belt. The July and September options manifested mani-fested the greatest, firmness, the former dollvery at one time being up to 25 from the low point of tho day. The strength was due to an excellent demand for the cash grain, practleal exhaustion ex-haustion of stocks In store here, extremely extreme-ly light Receipts and a rise of nearly 3c In July corn. The distant deliveries made only a faint response to the strength of the July option, hefnsr held back by the britrlit outlook -for the new crop. July ranged between $1,146 and $1,171. The market closed strong with July at SL1SI. Ail advance 0f 2gc In the price of July was the feature of trading in corn.' Tho range for that delivery was between 692 and 72c. Conditions In the oats market were similar to those in corn, July advancing 2flc. Provisions wore firm all day.
