Show NATIONAL GUARD CAMP SELECTED While It has not yet been announced in general orders. It Is determined that tho campsite for tho annual encampment of the National Guard will be on the old Crlsmon farm, between Thirteenth and Fourteenth South, east of the countv road. The site, comprises about eighty acres adjoining the road, the use of which has been kindly tendered to the Guard by Taylor Bros., who control the property. Tho site selected Is very suitable for the purpose. It is high and drv. gradually gradu-ally sloping toward the west, and readily accessible from the city. The water for slock purposes will bo procured from un irrigating ditch crossing the east end of the land, and water for cullnarv use of the camp will ho taken from tho city mains and hauled to tho camp. This insures in-sures a minimum of danger from contamination con-tamination of water supply. The ground selected for the campsite Is ample in extent ex-tent and not only for camp purposes, but also for battalion drills and regimental parades. While It has not yet been settled, it is expected that a. battalion of the Fifteenth infantry wllj be detailed to camp with the Guard, and during camp the Guard will be Inspected by a regular officer, probably prob-ably detailed trom the Fifteenth Infan-iry. Infan-iry. .East of the campsite ihere are many hundreds of acres of vac-int land sullable for battalion drills and such maneuvers ma-neuvers as will be possible to carry out this year. The city companies and the company from Ogden will probably be transported to within a quarter of a mile of the ground by the street rallwav. and If arrangements ar-rangements can be made with the Rio Grande the southern commands will be Placed within the same distance of camp by t ho Park City road.
