"HOBO KING" CALLS "UNEMPLOYED" CONTENTION NEW YORK. Jan. L Friends of J. Ends How, familiarly known as the "King of Hobos," havt received a letter from him at St. Louis, in which he extends an invitation for a gathering of the unemployed iu that city. In his letter ho says: " Realising that this is going to be a hard winter and that there nro all the way from 35.000 to 100,000 men out of employment in all the largo cities of tho country, wo havo decided to call a convention of delegates from all indifferent in-different centers to moot in Si, Louis January 22. 3 and i!4.
