Out of a total of 120 members, ( arc Democrats and the remainder re-mainder republicans. The principal business to come before be-fore tho body will bo tho election of a United States senator to succeed Senator Sen-ator Perkins; a proposal to prohibit race track gambling, and tho etmctmoiit of a direct primary law. The re-election of Senator George Perkins is generally gen-erally conceded. |
