Show MASQH FROM DENVER DIE! OF 111 Too Proud to Make Distress Known to Comrades, Succumbs Suc-cumbs to Hunger. BERKELEY, Cal., .Tan. 4. Near death from starvation, Edwin A. Kippic, who stood high in Masonic circles, was found this morning in a vacant house at West Berkeley by two boys. lie was removed in a ambulance but died on the way to a hospitnl. TCippio recently came here from Denver, Den-ver, but could not get work. Too proud to beg and suffering from consumption, con-sumption, three days ago ho went into the vacant houso- and had been there ever since without food or attendance. When found, he was emaciated and unable to move. His residence was in Denver, it is believed on Wa-tasache street. A card in his pocket showed his membership in El Paso Lodge No. 13. F. and A. M. of Denver and Colorado Colo-rado Springs. |
