There was a small I consignment of fruit and vegetables re- I celved from California, - hul business was ! very '"slow," as the dealers term It. I However, It gave them an opportunity to straighten things up after the holiday rush, which they did. The dealers say that they expect that business will continue con-tinue rather slack for o week or more. i Despite the dearth, dealers offered a fair line of eatables, but prices remained j practically unchanged. Included lu tho 1 consignment of products from the "Golden Slate" were a supply of oranges, bananas, pineapples, artichokes, cranberries and apples. Oranges were very plentiful Monday Mon-day and tho dealers offered them at prices ranging from 25 to 40 cents a dozen. A Very good vnrlety was offered j at 30 and 35 cents a dozen. |
