Ellen Shoppc, a woman who has given tho polico great trouble of late, was sentenced sen-tenced to thirty days in jail for being drunk, this sontence being imposed moro as an act of kindness than anything any-thing else, as tho woman has no homo. 4) Six men charged with vagrancy wero given a talking to and then discharged, dis-charged, after they promised to do better bet-ter in tho future.
