BRILLIANT INAUGURAL BALL HELD IN HELENA HELENA. Mont., Jan. 4. The Inaugural In-augural ball, held In this city tonight, was ono of the most brilliant affairs over held In tho historv of th; state. Gov-ornor Gov-ornor Edwin L. Norris and all other state officials, and all prominent officers of tho governor's stafT, wero present, as were the members and officers of tho state legislature. It Is estimated that between ."00 and COO people were in attendance. Dancing started at 10:30. after a reception by thy governor and his staff and other officials. offi-cials. After dancing several hours, refreshments refresh-ments wore served at tho Grandon hotel. The entire affair was carried out without with-out a hitch, and Is considered one of the most successful ever held In Montana.
