Show HURT IN RUNAWAY. O. O. Hcffner Meets With Painful Accident. Ac-cident. O. O. Hoffnor of this city met with a vory painful accident this afternoon. While trying to control a frnctlous horse tho nnlmnl gave two or threo violent lunges and threw Hcffner violently from tho buggy onto thc pavement. He was picked up unconscious and carried Into tho office of Drx. Rich and Rich, where It was discovered that ho had sustained an ugly gosh over the right eye. Thc wound bled so profusely that It left a trail of blood from the scene of the accident to tho offlco While tho Injury Is painful It is not serious, ns thcro Is no fracture of tho skull. Heffiicr's horse dashed madly Into a surrey driven by William Wil-liam nnd Franklin Hudson nnd overturned their conveyance. The Hndsons were knocked out Into the street, but with tho exception of a few bruises about the body, were not seriously se-riously hurl Hudson's animal then ran madly to Twenty-fourth Btrcct and In turning the corner slipped and fell.
