Show I lew Strike lade in Godiva Ground Management Says It Will Undoubtedly Undoubt-edly Hasten the Construction of Projected Mill. In hitherto unexplored territory the management of the Godiva of Tlntlo Is at present developing an ore body, paid Superintendent Su-perintendent Jackson McChryatal durlns tho' day, that will probably hasten Its equipment with tho long projected mill. Tho now disclosure Is upon tho cast of tho main dyko by which Godiva mountain. Tlntlc, Is divided, and In tho opinion of iho management is nothing less than an I'Xtenslon, along the same horizon, of the ehannol which lias boon opened up by tho Uncle Sam and May Day. and which is 1 being followed along Us strike by each of them It was at a depth of 750 feet, snld Superintendent McChryatal. that a crosscut cross-cut wus extended from the main workings of the Godiva to tho oro body on tho cast, and while tho management has been shooting In it for days, the extent of tho oro body has not yet been determined. As In other portions of the channel, tho first-class first-class oro, running well up In lead with good values In silver and some gold, oe- curs In the mass and along with that of mill quality. Tho rormcr Is now being taken out and sent to the furnaces for reduction, and with the milling ore along this meridian added to the large, volume 'xposed in ocher portions of the property, tho management will no doubt soon feel Justified In proceeding with the construction construc-tion of a mill. To that end experiments have already been made at camp with results qulto satisfactory. That the channel on the east of the dyko has been tapped by tho Godiva Is embraced as conclusive evidence that It occurs In tho neighboring properties at' corresponding depth, and that It will have soon been tapped on the Uncle Sam's F00-1 F00-1 foot level Is almost positive. It Is equnlly well assured that the same ore awaits corresponding cor-responding development in the May Day. |
