Show DISPOSAL OF STATE LANDS. Montana Attorney-General Renders Important Decision. HELENA. Mont.. April 22. Attorney-Genernl Attorney-Genernl Galon today rendered a most important im-portant decision upon the right of water commissioners, as defined by the recent Legislature, lo dispose of State lands designated as Irrigable and lying within the Irrigable limits of any exMstlng or. proposed pro-posed national Irrigation system In Montana. Mon-tana. The opinion Is regarded as a most Important one, because of the vast amount of such lands under State control and the several national Irrigation projects under way and In contemplation According to the Attornc -General all lands now or herenfter owned, by the State which are designated as Irrigable under any existing or proposed national Irrigation Irriga-tion system In Montana shall be disposed of by the State in farm units but no title to such State lands shall pass from the State until the conditions and limitations provided for in Knlted States laws have bcMi fully compiled with, and the State Land board Is fully satisfied of such compliance com-pliance on tho part of the purchaser.
