Show TWELVE HOURS SAVED ON T0N0PAH ROAD Work on the Tonopah railroad has brought the track to within three and a half miles from Deep Wells where the next station will be established, according ac-cording to the Tonopah Bonanza. The distance from Tonopah is tventy-four miles and from Sodavllle forty-one miles. In addition to the necessary slution and sidings a Y Is to be put in to take care of the freight which Ss beginning to arrive in considerable quantities, and coal bunkers will also be erected! Rapid progress Is also being made by the contractors at Tonopah on the grading for the depot site and sidings, and thoy expect to finish by next week. The pipe line which was constructed from Cnndelarla is furnishing about 25,000 gallons of water per day. Next week the new schedule, which the C. .t C. are going to put in force, will make a saving of twelve hours between Reno and Tonopah. John W. Brock, president, and Superintendent Super-intendent Tripp left yesterday for San Francisco to have a conference with the S. P. officials. |
