The Eureka Athletic Ath-letic association's baseball team will play tho Oregon Short Line nine from Salt Lake at this place next Sunday afternoon, for S1C0 a s'de. The local team put up Its money with the local branch of Mc-Cornick Mc-Cornick & Co.'s bank this morning, and It l. ciulte probable that the side bets will be Increased upon the arrival of the Salt l.ako team. An excursion will bo run to the Tlntlc district from Salt Lako City and Utah countv (owns next Sunday morning, and It Is thought that fully 10) persons will tnko advantage of the special train scr-vlco scr-vlco and visit the Tlntlc capital. The affair was successful eoclally and financially. II. O. Fuller, one of the members of the Eureka Athletic association's team, has gone to Evanston. Wyo., to play with that team this season.
