Show ELECTION TACTICS IN ENGINEERS' CONVENTION LOS ANGELES, May 10. The Brotherhood Broth-erhood of Locomotive Engineers mixed business with pleasure today, holding a morning executive session and visiting visit-ing Chutes park in the afternoon, where a special programme had been provided for their entertainment. No action of Interest to the order at large was taken at today's session, according to the secretary, sec-retary, but there is some quiet electioneering election-eering going on for favorite candidates for the high offices to be chosen In a few days. Two names are prominently mentioned in connection with the office of assistant grand chief engineor. They are M. W. Cadle of Scdalla. Mo., and S. A. Bickford of Pennsylvania. It ' wns said today that Bickford was in the load for the honor, but no test of the strength of the candidates will come before the day of balloting arrives. ar-rives. On Friday the delegates with their families will visit Catalina Island.
