Mary Landen, director of the South Davis Swim School, recently returned from Chicago Chica-go where she participated in the 27th annual International Festival of the Academy of Aquatic Art. She received a "AA" rating on her solo composition com-position "Circle of Liberty." THE TRIP was timed between be-tween her spring and summer swim instruction program of the swim school, which also sponsors a synchronized swimming performing group, the "Figure Eights." The group is available for aquatic ' entertainment at poolside parties par-ties and socials, at private home pools, condominiums, etc. The group is accepting applications ap-plications for membership from qualified swimmers. Girls should be at the Red Cross swimmer level or equivalent. Call 292-5985 for an audition appointment. MRS. LANDEN has long been involved in aquatics, having hav-ing been active as a Red Cross certified swim instructor and lifesaver for over 25 years, a YMCA certified swimming specialist and intermountain AAU synchronized swimming solo champion.
