Show Davis County Will Get Back $706,000 FARM1NGTON Davis County will be reimbursed $706,000 from the state this coming year for providing mental health services to local residents, according to a routine contract signed by the county commission Tuesday. THE ANNUAL contract takes effect July I and continues con-tinues through June 30. 1982. according to Ray Johnson, a spokesman for the Davis mental men-tal health department. He told commissioners Tuesday that between two and three percent of the funding has been cut based on recent legislative decisions. THE STATE contracts with a number of Utah counties each year, providing funding for a variety of mental health services. Mr. Johnson laterex-pl.iined. laterex-pl.iined. He said the contract agreements are based on a federal fed-eral mandate and have been ongoing between the state and the counties for about five K'ars. The county commission voted unanimously to sign the contract for another year s funding. |
