Over the years, he has received re-ceived many speech and drama dra-ma awards and was a member of the BHS team that won the 1981 state championship. T.J. has a full tuition scholarship to WSC where he will major in communications and minor in musical theatre. CURTIS YORK' broad background in theatre includes experience in school, church and community productions as an actor, singer, set designer and writer. He is a well-known and admired personality at Viewmont where he was voted best actor. Curtis, who has received numerous awards in statewide competitions, will attend WSC on a full tuition scholarship. He will major in theatre and plans to pursue a career as a professional singer and actor. THEATRE GUILD Publicity Public-ity Chairman Sheila Ething-ton, Ething-ton, who was chairman of the selections committee, reported re-ported that competition was keen because of (he high quality quali-ty of talent in Davis County schools. The awards were made to the winning students by BCT Theatre Guild outgoing out-going president, Elaine S. McKay, at the honors and awards night held this past month at each high school. Three seniors have been named Outstanding Students of Theatre and the Dramatic Arts." Awards were made by the Bountiful Community Theatre Guild to Graham Bell. Woods Cross High: T.J. Riddle, Rid-dle, Bountiful High; and Curtis York of Viewmont. Each received re-ceived a trophy and a check for $100. GRAHAM BELL the state Sterling Scholar runner-up in English, has been offered a full tuition scholarship to USU. He also received a Century III leadership scholarship. A star of many school and community plays, Graham has won a record number of superior super-ior ratings at speech and drama meets and was named best comedy actor and best actor overall at Woods Cross. He recently re-cently took first in state in dramatic dra-matic reading and will represent repre-sent Utah in national NFL competition to be held in June in Salt Lake City. T.J. RIDDLE has a long list of credits in school, community commun-ity and church productions. At Bountiful High he has been theatre manager, in concert choir and madrigals, a yell leader and senator in the stu- |
