Show Centerville Planning For Active July 4th Everyone is invited to Cen-terville's Cen-terville's July 4 celebration. It is spread over three days beginning be-ginning with a childrens parade on July 2 at 7 p.m. The children's chil-dren's parade starts at 300 E. and Porter Lane. All local children chil-dren and their bikes and wagons are invited to enter. IN ADDITION to the children's chil-dren's parade there will be a breakfast, carnival, arts and crafts show, marathon run, tennis tournament, baseball, dance and parade. Dates and times will be announced as they become available. Entry spots are still available avail-able for the parade. THERE IS room for entertainers enter-tainers at the free family night frolics and performers can get details by calling Skip Juncker, 582-3663 or 451-7237. The events are organized by the Centerville-Farmington Rotary Club with Dennis Knoles as general chairman. City officials and Rotarians are working to make this years celebration bigger and better than ever and hope for a lot of participation by the local citizenry. |
