They moved to Bountiful 15 years ago from Salt Lake. They are the parents pa-rents of five children. Her favorite pasttimes are music, sewing and watching their sons play football and softball and enjoying their five grandchildren. grandchil-dren. They like to visit Jackson to fish and relax. She is employed em-ployed at Lakewoods Home Furnishings in Bountiful. The following ladies give admirably of their time to in-' sure that all members and friends of the Bountiful Area Chamber of Commerce are reminded re-minded of the monthly Chamber Cham-ber membership meetings. Even though the members are notified through the Chamber newsletter, and the Davis County Clipper, of the time and place of the meetings, and who the speaker will be, these ladies make telephone contacts con-tacts to remind the members personally to attend. TO BECOME better acquainted ac-quainted with them and something some-thing of their background and origin the following outline is given. Dorothy Norseth was born in Ogden one of three daughters. daugh-ters. She attended schools in Ogden and graduated from Weber Jr. College. She married mar-ried Don Norseth in December, Decem-ber, 1949 and moved to Reno, Nev. where her husband attended the University of Nevada. The Norseths have two sons, two daughters and three grandchildren. Dorothy has worked as a photo negative retoucher and as a secretary. She is employed at Tracy Collins Col-lins Bank in West Bountiful as a installment loan secretary. She plays golf, reads, writes poetry and enjoys crocheting. STACEY MAXFIELD is employed as a secretary with First Security Bank in Bountiful, Bounti-ful, where she has worked for the past 4'j years. She was born in Salt Lake City, living there for 16 years, then moved to Centerville. She graduated from Viewmont High School. She is married to Bob Maxfield and they have a daughter named Brittney. Roma Smith was born in Summit County where she grew up helping her parents in the family owned timber-trucking timber-trucking business in Kamas. She graduated from South Summit High School and Stevens Henager Business College. She married Roger V. Smith and they lived on a ranch in Wanship, Ut. until moving to Bountiful eight years ago. ROMA is a sales coordinator coordina-tor at the W.S. Hatch Co. where she has worked for six years. She is the mother of two sons and she and her husband are active in the Little League program in the area. Her hobbies hob-bies include interior decorating, decorat-ing, handiwork, camping, hunting and spectator sports. BERNICE MANN was born in Lake Point, Ut., and is one of nine children. After graduation gradua-tion from high school she worked for Russell Stewart, a radio announcer for KSL, until she met and married Kenneth Mann. During the past 4 1 years they have lived in San Diego, Calif., Denver, Colo, and the past five years in Bountiful. The Manns have two children, chil-dren, Ron living in San Diego and Christine Christensen, Bountiful. Eight grandchildren keep her busy along w ith bowling, bowl-ing, fishing, camping and sewing. sew-ing. She is employed at J.C. Penney Co. in Bountiful. LAVEE NELSON was born in Magna, Ut. and graduated from Cyprus High School. She married Wayne LaMar Nelson and they have two children. The Nelsons have been resi-. resi-. dents of Bountiful for the past 18 years. Their son, Wayne, is serving an LDS mission in Columbia Col-umbia and Mechel graduated from Bountiful High this year. LaVee is presently employed by Chemcentral in Woods Cross. Roberta Woolsey was born and raised in Inglewood, Calif., where she met her husband. hus-band. Glen. For the past 12 years they have lived in West Bountiful. They are the parents pa-rents of four children and the grandparents of tw o. Her hobbies hob-bies are raising livestock and gardening. She is employed with Utah Title and Abstract Co. in Farmington. JEAN ANDERSON was born in Independence, Mo. and moved to Utah where she graduated from West High School in Salt Lake City. She has lived in Detroit, Mich, and Reno, Nev. She married Ernie Anderson of Centerville, where they now reside. She is the mother of 9 children and the grandmother of 1 7. She is a secretary employed by Caribou Cari-bou Four Corners Refinery. She likes to golf, swim, vacation vaca-tion and spend money, especially espe-cially when she visits four of her children living in Reno. Berniece Evans was born in Salt Lake City. She married |
