Show Bountiful West Stake Is Divided I Creek Stake. It includes Bountiful Boun-tiful 22,43, and 5th wards, and West Bountiful I, 7, and 8th wards. Stake President is Richard Lemon, with counselors, Doug Knudsen and Ronald Bangerter. Stake Clerk is Allen Cochran and Exec. Sec. John Kearns. Other officers include: in-clude: Patriarch. Paul Foster; Relief Society Pres., Carolyn Burningham; and Young Men Pres. Dennis Scott: Primary Pres. Jean Curtis. THE PRESENT Bountiful Utah West Stake is presided over by Boyd Beagley. Don Zesiger and Gary Rasmussen. Patriarch is Paul Buys. Relief Society president is Janet Wellington, Wel-lington, and Young Women president. Beverly Haslam. Primary president is Margaret Slater. The present Bountiful Utah West Stake will include the West Bountiful 2nd. 3rd. 4th. 5th and 6th wards and will allow for possible additions as time passes on. THE NEW bishop in West Bountiful Seventh Ward is Danny Broderick. a former bishopric counselor. He was boen in Price, and lived in Castle Cas-tle Dale. He is a building contractor. con-tractor. West Bountiful resident resi-dent for six years and has fulfilled fulfil-led a Spanish-speaking mission. mis-sion. He is the father of four children. RICHARD J. Anderson, new bishop of 6th Ward, was born in Sacramento, Cal., and works for theState for the State of Utah in social work. He and his wife are the parents of three children, and have been West Bountiful residents for five years. He served as a missionary in the Southwest Indian Mission. He has served in the Elders Quorum Pres. , as a membership and finance clerk, and as alternate High Councilor. LeGRAND RICHARDS Members and friends thronged into the Regional Center Sunday morning to attend the last meeting of the Bountiful Utah West Stake. They came to hear Apostle Legrand Richards and to learn the boundaries and officers of the new stake. 1 ELDER RICHARDS pres ided and spoke on missionary work. He talked of the reasons for writing "A Marvelous Work and a Wonder." The j theme of the entire conference was "Members who actively ! friendship non-members, in 1 order to teach them the gospel, will be blessed." Elder Richards, over ninety-six ninety-six years of age, bore testimony testi-mony that living of the principles princi-ples of the gospel is the only way to bring peace and happiness happi-ness to the world. ELDER LAWRENCE E. Welling, Regional Director, conducted dividing of the stake. The new stake is known as the Bountiful Utah Stone |
