Show West Bountiful The Sunday School in the Third Ward was reorganized with Chadwick Smith as president and Rick Montgomery Mont-gomery and Paul Stokes as assistants. Denise Dennis was sustained to the office of secretary with Ruth Kunz, as secretary of the Jr. Sunday School. Joan Simmons was sustained to the office of Primary In Service leader and Kara McKean as a Primary teacher. We especially welcome newcomers to West Bountiful, Ted and Molly Elson and two sons. They are residing in Hill West subdivision. They moved down from Bountiful. We bid farewell to Debbie and Mike Mikesall, who are moving from their home in Wood Haven. It's been a joy to have you in the area. And more visitors-the Rick Binghams have had a busy time entertaining and attending attend-ing wedding festivities honoring honor-ing Rick's brother Craig and new wife Cathy Stephens. 1 ney were married in tne salt Lake Temple. Other guests in town were parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bingham, Bell; vue. Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Stephens, Redmond, Wash.; and Wendy Bingham, Bellvue. Wash. The newlyweds were feted at an open house at the Bountiful 22nd Ward. The Earl Deppes are still remembering the pleasant visit they had recently with their son DeVon and wife Bonieta and children of Provo. DeVon is attending law school at the BYU. There has been a lot of traveling, in spite of inclement weather. The Laurels and Priests of the West Bountiful Third Ward, in conjunction with those of the 12th Ward, had a ball as they journeyed to Camp Zarahemla, last weekend. Bishop Gary Edmonds was one of the "shadow leaders." Ken Sweatfield traveled to California on business. The Robert Telfords journeyed jour-neyed to Idaho for the naming of son, Mike's, baby. Glen Crouch, former City Councilman of West Bountiful, Boun-tiful, was seen at the airport as he came in from Billings. Mont. He and wife Janet, and children are now living in Pocatello, Ida. They enjoy getting in touch with old friends. Viewmont High as often excelled ex-celled in sports and music. This year they won 7th place in the State Forensic Meet. . They were among 27 high schools participating. Danna Mitchell was awarded a certificate cer-tificate of excellency in the Extemp Division. Kathy Alder was honored at a miscellaneous shower at the home of the O. Lynn Johnsons this week. Among the guests present were: Afton Hep-worth. Hep-worth. Joan Schulthies, Joan Sweatfield, Linda Scott, Marion Nelson, Rexine Rowley, and Elon Widdison. Kathy will be married next week in the Salt Lake Temple to Kenneth Johnson, son of the Lynn Johnsons. She and her new husband will be honored at a wedding reception, recep-tion, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence W. Alder, at the Lion House, in Salt Lake City, on Friday, April 9. The Primary children of the West Bountiful Ward at last had their kite flying contest and earned $28 for the building build-ing fund. Three more events of the Primary Olympics were held this Wednesday after Primary. Winners of the gold, silver, and bronze medals will be announced at the conclusion of the entire series of events. Primary officers and teachers have worked hard to help to make this building project a success. The Cub Scouts of the West Bountiful 3rd Ward and their guests especially enjoyed their meeting last week. They had fun with the Deeburger Clown. Everyone had fun viewing the displays on hobbies hob-bies and things created in meetings. Grant Bart sc hi was in charge and was assisted by den leaders, DeAne Hansen, i Loretta Kerr, Arline Mann; I and Harold Mann. Webelos leader. The Webelos were awarded a special award because they were all in uniform. The monthly meeting of the .
