Show Named To Board Of Primary Childrens Nineteen Utah women were named today to serve as a central committee assisting in raising funds for Primary Children's Medical Center. THE OVERALL theme of the "Children's Fund" drive is "Pennies by the Inch," said Mrs. LaVern W. Parmiey, Fund Chairman, and formerly for-merly Chairman of the Hospital's Hos-pital's Board of Trustees. The Children's Fund is designed to replace the annual an-nual Penny Parade that was discontinued when the LDS Church gave all of its hospitals hospi-tals to a non-orofit corporation, corpora-tion, namely Intermountain Health Care, Inc. A DOOR-to-door solicitation effort will be made between April 26 and May 8 in the Salt Lake Valley and in many other communities of Utah and surrounding states. All funds received will be used to maintain inpatient and out patient charity services ser-vices at the hospital. Mrs. E. DeVont Stowell of Bountiful is one of the co-chairmen. |
