Show .ELiin. FbqI QgoiIigo Restoration iki Mountain Fuel Supply Company has announced plans for restoring the areas in Centerville that were affected by the installation of a 20-inch natural gas pipeline last fall. CONSTRUCTION OF the line was delayed by the inaction of the Federal Power Commission to permit the building of the Coalville to Centerville pipeline. Due to the late start of construction, crews were unable to asphalt damaged portions of Porters Lane. The company . regrets that winter closed in before restoration was completed. In an agreement between Mountain Fuel and Centerville Center-ville City, the city agreed to maintain the condition of the road by grading, placing gravel in needed areas and watering down if necessary. The cost for any work completed by Centerville City would be billed to Mountain Moun-tain Fuel. WITH SPRING approaching, the pipeline contractor is prepared to return approximately April 15, depending on the weather, to complete his portion of the contract by paving Porters' Lane. A warm, steady temperature is required before asphalt suppliers are able to operate and provide material for the paving process. Mountain Fuel is very appreciative to the residents of Centerville who have experienced inconvenience during construction. |
