He is currently the Utah State Heavy i Weight'Arm Wrestling Champion. He is employed at McDonnell Douglas Corporation as a fabrication fabrica-tion associate. Following their honeymoon to Orlanda, Fla., they will make their home in Woods Cross. Connie R. Bloomquist, daughter of LaMar A. and Norma Bloomquist, Bloom-quist, of Bountiful, and Edwin John Goble, son of Dahl C. and Lena Goble. of Bountiful, were married at a garden wedding at the home of the bride's parents on Sept. 19. The ceremony was performed by the groom's cousin, Bishop Matthew W. Asmus. A wedding luncheon was given by the groom's parents at the Bountiful Boun-tiful First Ward meeting house. The bride's parents honored the newlyweds at a garden reception held that evening at their home. Vickie Bloomquist served as maid of honor, and best man duties were performed by Glen Tolman. Prior to the wedding, the bride was honored at bridal showers hosted by Donna Vande Merwe and Audrey Buttars; her mother, Normaf and sister Vickie Bloomquist; Jill Eberhardt and Pam Cozad; Geri Lyn Henderson and DeAnn Murdoch Mur-doch Pat and Linda Bloomquist; Marci Brandshaw and Gwen Stapp. The bride graduated from Bountiful Boun-tiful High School in 1979 and attended at-tended Ricks College. She has been actively involved in theatre at Promised Valley, Bountiful Community Com-munity and StageRight Theatre Company.
