Show Bonnie Rae Jones. Kay Smith Wed Miss Bonnie Rae Jones and Mr. Kay Smith, popular Cedar City couple, will exchange marriage vows early this evening in a double ring, candle light ceremony cere-mony to be performed by Bishop i Fernleigh Gardner. The ceremony will be performed at the Cedar LDS Institute of Religion in the presence of members, of the immediate im-mediate families and close friends of the bride and groom. Following the marriage ceremony cere-mony the couple will be honored at a reception to be held in the Relief Society rooms of the Second Se-cond Ward chapel. Miss Jones has selected Miss Dcnlce Smith as Maid of Honor, with her aunt, Mrs. Morris Fowles of Salt Lake City, as Matron Ma-tron of Honor. Bride's Maids will be the Misses Renee Gentry, Janet Wasden, Janice Bauer, Sylvia Syl-via Smith, and Carma Lessing. Miss Karen Jones, sister of the bride, will act as flower girl, and Lawrence Ashdown will stand as best man. Mrs. Morgan Rollo aijd Mrs. Leo Larson will preside at the i serving table, with close friends of the bride, assisting with the serving, in charge of the bride's book and the gift room. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. LaNoir Jones, and the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Smith. Miss Jones is a senior at the Cedar City high school, and Mr. Smith is a graduate grad-uate of the Cedar school, where he was prominent in athletics, gaining all-star recognition in football and also gaining state honors in wrestling. Following a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, the young couple will make their home in Logan, where Mr. Smith will study at the Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural college. -' |
